Rippletto Chassis.

Frame and Fittings-Sec. 7000.

Now that the major frame details are complete for the above chassis, we are in a position to prepare a drawing of the frame in its assembled state as supplied by the frame makers.

This we have done, and attached is a blueprint of the following:-

RF 757. Sht. 1. Assembly of Frame as supplied by Makers.

As discussed with Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD{J. Draper - Frames}, we have included certain smaller details which appear to be rationalised, and which are part of the assembled frame. Before issueing this drawing to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}, we would like you to verify that these parts hold good for Rippletto. We understand that it will be necessary to add certain stiffening plates to accommodate the thinner frame gauge, and if these are indicated on the enclosed print, we can then produce details. As a guide, we have marked up the thicknesses of the various parts.

Due to the upsweep of the bottom flange of the side members, in the proximity of the back of dash, being further back than Ripplet, it has been found necessary to reduce the lenghh of the forward body bracket.
