Sèvres P/W "Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}" Ps6/RJ.22/1/30. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/MJ.I5/I/30. Excelsior "Afa" is the shock-absorber meant undoubtedly. It is similar to the Hartford, and, according to Gr{George Ratcliffe}égoire, of Tracta firm, has no special peculiarities. There are at present in France two very good shock-absorbers: the "Dufaux" friction type, which can be regulated from the driver's seat, and the "De Ram", which is a very clever hydraulic affair. I am obtaining some dope on it, and will let you have it as soon as it arrives. Ps. | ||
