re Duckham's Adcoids.
-----------------

I have just received a letter from these people, dated 13th instant, which reads as follows:

" Referring to your letter of 22nd June
"addressed to our Mr S.E.Bowrey about the
"engine on which ADCOIDS have been used,
"some time ago I received a circular from
"Bentley Motors in LONDON advising certain
"action when driving cars, say, on the
"Continent, all out for long periods.

" In view of your critical interest in
"testing, I shall be glad to know what are
"generally found to be the most susceptible
"parts. I would then investigate the
"matter in the hopes of introducing a lubricant
"which would counteract such severe ordeal".

Yours faithfully,

(Sgd) A.{Mr Adams} Duckham,

Chairman.

PS. As I personally drive a 4.1/4 L Bentley and love it, I have a personal interest in this matter.

Would you kindly let me know by RETURN if you are replying to this letter, or what you wish me to say, if you prefer that I should reply.

Sr.

PS. The address of this firm is:

Messrs Alexander Duckham & Co. Ltd,
Duckham House,
