RE CHASSIS 34-EX.

We were under the impression that when this car had the new body fitted it would remain in the hands of the Company.

Since hearing, however, that it is to be sold to a customer, we have been looking more closely into the specification, and find that it is not representative of any P.III's delivered to customers.

We would like to point out that this car was one of the first 6 P.III chassis built, and that the engine mounting, crankcase, dynamo, water pump, etc. are all now obsolete, also the rear axle with short half shafts, none of which are in production.

Should the car be sold as an early model the question of spares may arise at a future date, and prove a difficulty.

We should not mind the 7.50 x 18 wheels and tyres remaining on the car, and the wheel spanner would have to be bent to clear the tyre, there is no special spanner.

The rear road springs have an extra leaf and are 1550 lbs. These of course willbe much too strong for the average body.
