re ZERO-LASH HYDRAULIC TAPPETS.

Thank you for your letter of the 30th. September, re the above.

We have a set of these Zero-Lash tappets prepared for test.

Owing to hostilities, we have had to hold up this development programme, but when we re-start we will communicate with you again.

Footnote. Now that you are proposing to manufacture these tappets in this country, we should like to have an indication of the price at which you expect to be able to sell them in quantities. As an example, can you give us the pre-war price of 5,000 tappet units complete, to the attached drawing.
