To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} (Chateauroux) from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 600a also 300a Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/AP.16.8.37 I send you herewith a copy of my conclusions drawn from recent tests in France. Leslie thinks there will be no need to have a Fitter to change the needle bearings on the P.III. or the springs on the Wraith. In view of this fact we shall not send one out. We are, however, sending Leslie out almost immediately. I do not want you to be short of personnel so am sending a tester out as well. I do not know who it will be at the moment. We are anxiously awaiting your report on the Wraith chassis in general to assure us that there are no serious breakages, and also Wraith tappets. Leslie is bringing out all the pieces you asked for.
