Could you kindly let me know whether you have any letter in your London files conveying to Mr Claremont Mr Royce's opinion on the free wheel gear box, as mentioned by Mr Johnson in the attached memorandum marked A.{Mr Adams} (CJ10/C18-512). You will see from the pencil notes that Mr Johnson wishes me to write to Mr Claremont after making sure that no letter has been written from London, because as far as I can see no such letter has been written from here.
