X.3374 - RE ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES OTHER THAN MAGNETOS AND ACCUMULATORS. X.4264 X3910 It is difficult to find anyone making a really up-to-date and successful complete line of the above. Probably the Delco is the best taken all round (battery ignition, lighting and starting and distributing board) Certainly their battery ignition is the only one I think we could consider fitting at the moment. American Bosch seem only to have their magnetos which have passed the experimental stage. There is much of this work in a very unsettled and unsatisfactory state, and it is probably due to this that we have run into so much trouble, and I consider we should be safer making our own, especially does this apply to England. There are fairly good lighting sets made in England, but the battery and starter equipments are quite unsettled. EFC R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
