| RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c.c. E.H.Ds. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} [Handwritten] File 322 E/HDY.{William Hardy}1/HP.12.12.36. Phantom III Rear Engine Support. We send herewith a print of N.Sch.4975 showing a revised rear suspension for the engine which is intended to overcome the difficulties referred to in RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}1/CB.13.11.36. Will you kindly let us know whether you think this will be satisfactory from the production point of view. We have deleted the steel forging which on the present design bolts up to the clutch casing. This means an altered clutch casing but in any case we are shortly issuing instructions for clutch modifications in accordance with Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Smth.2/KW.8.10.36 which will involve an alteration to the clutch casing. E/HDY.{William Hardy} [Handwritten] Wyman. Do you think that they could have done better than this? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} O.K. [Signature] | ||
