87 88 . Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}S/MA. December 9th., 1932. Clerk of the Course, Brooklands Racing Track, Weybridge, SURREY. Dear Sir, In about three weeks from now we shall be in a position to carry out a series of tests on a car the results of which we are very anxious to obtain at the earliest possible moment. Whilst we are aware that the track is officially closed for repairs we wonder whether there is any possibility of our being able to use it for these tests. The tests would necessitate using the whole of the track, but the speeds would not be high so that as long as there is a complete circuit available we should probably be able to do all that we need, by steering a course clear of the portions of the track which are under repair. We hope that you will be able to find it possible to arrange this. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
