"Peregrine II", "Japan II", 40-50 H.P., and 20-25 H.P. - Instrument Patch - Will you please put in hand one set of the following parts to enable us to test an improvement in illumination of the Instrument Patch. We are being urged to do this before introducing this type of Patch on the 40-50 H.P. chassis :- D.53961. Supporting Plate. D.53949. Distance Ring. D.53951. Distance Piece,(Clock) D.53952. Distance Piece,(Speedometer) D.53953. Distance Piece,(Smaller Instruments) D.53955. Wooden Packing. D.53956. Lamp Holder. The scheme is to provide a larger aperture so that the lamp bulb may be pushed right in and the whole of its luminous powers used between the supporting plate and the mount. In conjunction with this scheme, Dial Plate D.53948 is to be used ; this was recently issued to you. Will you please have one 20/25 H.P. chassis type of Patch made up, obtaining the remainder of the parts from Production - L.O.P. D.53102. BY/RD. | ||
