Contd. -18- EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T11. 12.17. Experimental for Remy 6 at 900 R.P.M. In addition to plotted curve of current consumption against gap the following points were noted. On primary gaps the spark was about normal (more than for Remy 12) for all variation of gap, Missing on 5 mm. secondary gaps started when primary gap had been increased to .040", and no secondary sparks remained when gap had reached .060" although contact was still being made.
