An additional tufted spring like we are to most not a fit. The plunger has .0003 to .0005" clearance and a sharp bottom edge to prevent shaking when dirty.

Jardin sand on Halford tappet needs absolutely air free oil or turner's the other way up.

* They have a very clever tappet for aeroplanes which was wax up of which I have a drawing & notes of a sample.

The Silchrom made to
20 % Cr{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester}
2 1/2 % Ni
0.7 % C
2 % Si
0.6 % Mn

were still satisfactory

GR{George Ratcliffe}?
