| X-62 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}24/KW. 5th March, 1936. Messrs. Offord & Sons Ltd., 94, Gloucester Road, LONDON, S.W.7. Dear Sirs, Attached is a print showing the position in which the petrol and spare wheel might be carried on Mr. Hall's car. It is questionable whether it is desirable to carry the quantity of petrol shown, but we think in making your body you should provide room as indicated. We also think you should allow facilities for fitting two filler caps to the petrol tank, one on each side of the car, though in all probability it may only be found necessary to have one. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
