Query about the usability of the steering handle for engine timing due to the low inertia spring drive on the 'Phantom II'.

LOW INERTIA SPRING DRIVE

"PHANTOM II"

Referring to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TSN5/AD12.10.29 is it the case that the use of this spring-drive for the steering handle will make it practically impossible for the handle to be used when timing an engine, or some other method of turning must be employed, or do you take the view that the handle can still be used so long as the markings on the flywheel are still carefully watched? I am thinking from the point of view of a man who looks after these cars in the future.
