HEAD OFFICE AND FACTORY: INCHINNAN, RENFREWSHIRE INDIA TYRE & RUBBER COMPANY LTD. MILEAGE DEPARTMENT (AREA "B") 80 CLAPHAM ROAD LONDON, S.W.9 OUR REF R/WBT. YOUR REF. TELEPHONES: RELIANCE 2662/3 10th December, 1934. W.A. ROBOTHAM, ESQ., Experimental Department, Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Robotham, Many thanks for your letter of December 7th. I will come to Derby on Friday, December 14th, unless I hear from you to the contrary. I shall be coming by train, so hope to be with you by 11.30, as I should like an opportunity of seeing Mr. Royce as well, if possible, in order to see that he is quite satisfied with all arrangements. As regard the 6.00-19 and 5.50-18 tyres, the radius under load for the former is 14.95, and the radius under load for the latter 14.06, the difference being .89". These measurements as far as I know are correct, but I am taking immediate steps to check them. I look forward very much to discussing the question with you on Friday next. Yours sincerely, Rothes- | ||
