X.3095 - BOTTOM NUT OF LOWER HOUSING IN CAMSHAFT DRIVE IN ALUMINIUM.

With reference to the above experiment

Mr. Hives remarks:-

"The original nut was made in steel. Mr, Olley requested that one should be made in aluminium. We recommend that the steel nut should be retained, there is always a difficulty in making a decent thread in aluminium".
