NEWTON CLUTCH DISC Patent No. 443608 Features and Advantages. (1) Gives full face contact throughout the complete range of take-up and life of Disc. (2) The end load is calculated in direct proportion to the torque of the engine. (3) Spring members are insulated from heat. (4) Spring element working through metal disc. (5) Disc is initially loaded in free position. (6) Remarkably light in weight. (7) Air passage between discs when in the driving position ensuring efficient ventilation. (8) Considerably prolonged life due to sweet action reducing maintenance costs and preserving the transmission. (9) Although possessing the above advantages the NEWTON CLUTCH DISC is comparable in price with other normal plates of a less scientific design. | ||
