Flexibility in Servo Operation to overcome Servo Jaggers. This is now coming through on 40/50 HP. cars on test as standard and is being applied retrospectively to one or two Trials cars which are coming through. A considerable amount of money is being spent and d delay is being caused by dismantling and re-fitting the present servo mechanism to overcome complaints of Servo Jaggers. This is being done whilst on test either as chassis or complete cars, and we have definite proof that although satisfactory in this respect as chassis, after the car has been standing for some time, the trouble is as bad as ever. I therefore recommend that we should be in a position when this fault does take place to fix the above scheme, as the quickest and most satisfactory way of dealing with this trouble. I should like your confirmation of the above, and for you definitely to instruct for this action to be taken and for sufficient material to be prepared to deal with this matter, as I should like to circulate our Depots accordingly.
