Tests taken on Montlhery track.
All temp. readings taken at the completion of lap, and same
position of lap.

ROTATION OF TESTS.

(1) Tests for loss of water. Temp. 75° to start off. Maximum
speed, time, temperatures.

(2) Tests at 60 M.P.H. with fan belt choc-a-bloc with bonnet
shutters closed. Temperatures and loss of water.

(3) Tests at 70 M.P.H. with fan belt choc-a-bloc with bonnet
shutters closed. Temperatures and loss of water.

(4) Test with front bonnet shutters open, 60 M.P.H.

(5) Test with front bonnet shutters open, 70 M.P.H.

(6) Test with front and rear bonnet shutters open, 60 M.P.H.

(7) Test with front and rear bonnet shutters open, 70 M.P.H.

(8) Ignition retarded 3 notches, 70 M.P.H. Temperature test.

(9) Standard test, temperatures, & 60 M.P.H.

(10) Fan belt slacked off with all bonnet shutters open, 60 M.P.H.

(11) Fan right off with all bonnet shutters open, 60 M.P.H.
Fan replaced.

(12) Thermostat removed. Shutters held full open. Test for
loss of water at 60 M.P.H. Checked up against No.2 test.

(13) Thermostat removed. Shutters held full open. Test for
loss of water at 70 M.P.H. Checked up against No.3 test.

(14) Radiator shutters taken off. Temp. test at 60 M.P.H.
Checked up against No.9 test.

(15) Test double supply from bottom tank to water pump. Checked
up against No.9 and 14 tests.

(16) Commercial spirit. 60 M.P.H. temperature test. Against No.9.

(17) Commercial spirit. Mixture 5 notches strong. 60 MPH. ditto.
temperature test.

(18) Ignition retarded 5 notches. Conditions same as Number
17. No different result. This test had to be cut short
owing to track being closed.
