HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} at W. Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}7/MK.22.5.35. (Dict. 21.5.35). "Experimental" Standard Saloon. By this heading we mean a standardised saloon which at our request Park Ward have earmarked for mounting on an experimental chassis. We have been asked to say when they may expect the chassis. Can you give us any idea of this, please, and can you yet issue definite finishing instructions? Park Ward say that on the occasion of one of your visits to their works you had in mind green leather with green head cloth like the patterns enclosed. Can we tell them to go ahead? As we have mentioned to you previously it sometimes takes as long as three weeks to obtain delivery of hides so that it is desirable to settle on the upholstery at least, but of course, Park Ward would like to know how you want the exterior finished.
