Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} file Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/ML.10.12.40. ALLISON ENGINE REPAIRS. Further to our conversation on this subject. We have now done 278 Kestrels at the Clan Foundry, 107 of which were completed in the last seven weeks. We therefore feel that we should be able to handle any Allison repairs that are likely to be required for the next twelve months. We have examined the engine which is at present stripped and find that most of the existing Kestrel fixtures can be adapted. We should like to have this job unless, for reasons of policy, it is impossible. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
