LUBRICATION FOR BOTTOM BALL END ON THE SHOCK DAMPERS. ------------------------------------------------ The Experimental Department are complaining that the bottom ball does not get lubricated. We would suggest that the possibly the best way to deal with this is to apply the scheme which was run by the Experimental Department shown on F.76634, to which you recently agreed. If this decision is definitely agreed to we will arrange to modify the ball ends on the various shock dampers to bring it in line. I feel certain that we shall not get adequate lubrication of the balls without the insertion of the felt pads. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
