Under idling conditions the temperature drop across the radiator is approximately 5°C. while under full speed conditions it is approximately 17°C. indicating that we cannot gain much by increasing the water flow at low speeds but could gain at high speeds. 5. An improvement under idling conditions is obtained by increasing the idling speed - the higher the engine speed the better the cooling. 6. Maximum lap speed obtained to date on 37-EX. 85.7. M.P.H.
