Re Valve Springs. X472

Na{Mr Nadin}12/B26513.

Mr Platford is afraid that we may experience some trouble with the valve springs on the Austrian and Spanish Trials cars.
I therefore suggest that it would be advisable to try, say, 6 springs, taken from the Stores, on the testing jig and compare them with 6 springs taken from the Stores but let down by ourselves in the oil bath. If we find the valve springs tempered by ourselves are any better we could let Mr Platford take with him 2 sets for the Spanish cars.
