R.{Sir Henry Royce} 2 We enclose herewith 2 blueprints of the following specification units. Engine Unit No. 2nd Issue Gearbox Unit No. 1st Issue Frame Unit No. 1st Issue Rear Axle Unit No. 1st Issue Body Characteristics Unit No. 1st Issue We have completed these sheets as far as detailing and design permit. We shall revise them at a later date issuing new prints. If we have included any item, and Derby know it will definatelly not be on 2.R.2 . It is essential that we shall be informed of the alternative scheme, otherwise we fail to see how we can be expected to produce a true specification. If all departments concerned will endeavour to do this by marking up a Specification print in the column provided, a complete story will be there ready for reconsideration at any time.
