In reply to EFC4/T31.12.26., we should be interested to see the sample points.

With regard to the mysterious differences in behaviour between the RR. contact breaker and the Remy it has occurred to us that there may be a difference in the mechanical stiffness of the mounting of the points, resulting in more movement at the moment of contact in the one case than in the other. We should be interested to know if the Remy is any stiffer than the RR. in this respect.
