Car Supercharger.

We wish to try a supercharger with a diffuser, with the object of raising the efficiency and at the same time observing the effect of the diffuser on noise. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1717 attached gives the leading dimensions of such a blower which can be made as a modification to the existing Graham-Paige unit. The main casting can be used practically without alteration, but, not knowing the precise dimensions of the rotor casing top half, we do not know whether a new casting will be required for this or not. We are prepared to dispense with the water jacket if this will greatly simplify matters, but should prefer to retain it.

We shall require two alternative worm drive ratios, namely, 4.84 & 5.35/1. The 4.84 ratio is the same as the standard Graham drive, and we suggest you order this set without delay from the Michigan Tool Co., identical with the Graham ones, but opposite handed.

Regarding the other set, we should like you to get these from the firm which will give earliest delivery.
