Messrs. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Einger Ltd.,

LONDON, S.E.1.

Your Ref: RH{R. Hollingworth}/DS.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your offer to supply us with free sample Bentley or Rolls-Royce brake linings. As we explained to Mr. Horton, it is our policy never to accept samples gratis, but to buy them, as this leaves us free to test them in our own time.

We are at present extremely busy with brake experiments, and shall not be able to place an order for some time. We are very satisfied with the brake linings we now use, but should we ever become dissatisfied with them, we will get into touch with you.

We are,

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
