re. MISS ENGLAND II.

With reference to yours Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E10.11.31.

Naturally, I was alarmed at my son's condition when he arrived home, and immediately put him under medical attention, and a course of treatment was arranged and commenced.

I reported same to D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} and asked him to put in a claim for insurance.

The bonus arrived later, which I take was a personal matter between Lord Wakefield and my son, whereas, being a junior, I am responsible for his health. I also considered that as Lord Wakefield had insured him and the necessary premium had been paid, that the Insurance Company had accepted liability and that it was up to them to pay.

In view of the fact, however, that Lord Wakefield would have to pay the insurance claim (which I should have realised before) I most certainly do not wish to claim and regret having caused any trouble in the matter.
