Detroit Athletic Club Other people have said that the straight 8 is easy to carburett & silence. Therefore, in view of our peculiar taxation difficulties in England, this unit once more comes forward as a possible 20/25 replacement and I will concentrate on finding out what I can about it in addition to the 12cyl. No one seems enthusiastic about the V.8. Thinking engines at the back, the straight eight is of course a bad shape. I have WST's memo on Coils and will find out what I can.
