Dear Sirs,

We have your letter of the 26th ult. ref. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}10/JH, and have today sent you under separate cover a small sample of wax with a melting point of 180° F.{Mr Friese} and also a sample of bitumen, which should be used at a temperature of approximately 230° F.{Mr Friese} If the bitumen is used at a higher temperature its qualities will be greatly impaired.

When you have tested these samples we shall be glad to hear if we can be of further assistance.

Yours faithfully,
MUIRHEAD & CO. LTD.

J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} V.{VIENNA} Foll
Managing Director.
