Nos 4, 5, and 6 tappet blocks non plated, cloudburst hardened tappets. These were run in on Hi press oil.
Continental 6.5 : 1 ratio cylinder heads Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}160.
E.88447 strengthened KE.965 valves.
E.88165 S/SLV inlet valves hollow stems.
Std. double springs with hydraulic mechanism stopped off.
No.6. Unit to be assembled as follows for further endurance.
Obsolete type crankcase.
Packard type balance weight crank.
EX.28937/8 Hall's forked rod bushes in centricast AC.6.
3 rods with Eleven H Whitemetal on blade rod face and 3 with std. W/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}

Bottom tappets in accordance with the modified scheme LeC.5667 rectangular section 6 in I/C and 6 in S/ZN cloudburst hardened face.

Cylinder heads ex No.13. Latest 4 port with improved water passages.
Std.EB.175 springs 4" - 6" grummets.
Std. valves KE.965 exhaust and S/SLV inlet.
S/SLV exhaust seats on A side.
