RANSOME & MARLES BEARING COMPANY LIMITED NEWARK-ON-TRENT therefore I am despatching this to you under separate cover for your examination and any experiments which you may care to make. As also mentioned during our 'phone conversation the trouble with the extended outer is in the added weight which results in rather excessive spinning of the outer, and in one or two instances it has been found possible to modify the clutch fingers so as to utilize an entirely standard outer with the exception that all the stamping has been removed from the face against which the fingers abut, thus gaining some advantage from the lighter outer ring. I trust the foregoing information will be of interest, but shall be glad to have your comments and the opportunity of discussing the matter with you further should you find this advisable. Kindest regards, Yours sincerely, F.{Mr Friese} O.{Mr Oldham} Thulling ENCLOS: Prints: B.6076; B.7139; B.5324; B.5057; B.2623; B.10386. u.s.c. Sample 4/LJT.50. | ||
