REF. FEP/HFC

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

November 17th. 1938.

For the attention of Mr. Swindall.

Dear Sirs,

Metalastik Flexible Couplings for Dynamic Drive.
----------------------------------------------------

We have pleasure in informing you that we have despatched the 3 Metalastik Flexible Couplings to your Works.

In your letter of the 24th. ult. you requested that the torsional flexibility should not be less than 8° at the maximum torque of 10lbs/ft., and we have succeeded in complying with this condition.

Enclosed please find our drawing No: 20045 showing the torque-angular deflection curves for the 3 different couplings.

In our opinion the 30 hard rubber is too flexible but we hope to have your comments when all 3 have been tested.

Yours faithfully,
METALASTIK LIMITED,
