Sidgreaves - MD}14/E25.8.36 Referring to E.1/HP.18.8.36 I have carefully read your memo. and also Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}E/KW.19.8.36. I feel that there is a great deal in what Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} says regarding the disadvantages and dangers of trying to make a completely new Bentley car nor do I think it is necessary. The only important feature in which the Bentley is, or is rapidly becoming, out of date is in connection with the suspension.
