To DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}: from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} F4214 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/LG11.7.27. 4457. HIGH SPEED WOBBLES. In our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rnl/LG14.6.27. page 3, we stated that the Hispano frame is weaker in torsion than the 40/50. This is incorrect. It is obvious from the curve of frame deflection that the Hispano is stiffer than the 40/50 HP. We attribute the stiffness to the engine mounting. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
