THE SEIBERLING RUBBER COMPANY Detroit Branch September 4 1926 Mr. A.{Mr Adams} C. Ross Rolls-Royce Motor Car Company, Springfield, Mass. Dear Mr. Ross: There has been considerable surmise and experiment going on in connection with smaller wheel diameters. We have done our fair share of experimenting with this equipment and at present have mold equipment and cuts and are furnishing some of the new size tires. My thought in writing you is that you may possibly want to investigate the merits or demerits of smaller wheel diameters and if so, I want you to know that the Seiberling Rubber Company is equipped to work with you on such experiments. At present it looks like there would be both 18 inch and 20 inch 675 tires as standard equipment in a very short time. There is also an 18 inch 525 which will come into general use. It now looks like there would be an 18 inch 600 tire which will supplant the 577. Present indications point to the gradual elimination of both the 620 and 577 and if this actually takes place, we would then have an 18 inch and 20 inch 525, an 18 inch and 20 inch 600 and an 18 inch and 20 inch 675. This would mean the gradual elimination of 577, 620 and 730. If you are contemplating a change in your size of tire and we can be of any service to you, I should be only too pleased to have you advise me. Yours very truly, H.{Arthur M.
