Re cont'd 7 The separators used are of thick ebonite pierced with circular holes. 8 The elements stand on rubber insulators which lift them up about 1/2". 9 The cells stand on a sheet of rubber which has hollows on the top side & feet on the underside making it very flexible & also absorbs the shock of vibration which otherwise the battery would get. 10 There are no fittings provided by which the battery may be fixed in position on the Footboard.
