GOSHAWK 11. - OIL FILLER. X4235 X4220

On the latest Goshawk 11. Crankcase made so that the Magneto can be fitted to, we are still awaiting definite instructions as regards the oil filler on the engine. We have examined the car for the best place to put it and find no better place than the position it is in at present. We think that if the casting was altered, it could be made to clear the Magneto Drive. We consider it would be an advantage than otherwise, for the filler to stand out well from the engine because then a tin of oil can be emptied into it more easily.

We also think it is essential that the oil filler must be on the same side as the level indicator.

We should like to have definite instructions as regards this oil filler because this would clear up the crankcase design.

[Handwritten note on right side]: Unless filler never works why not try on the assembly of one Point - felt is necessary as a joint.
