To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 2677 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/KW.24.5.34. Bentley Petrol Feed. One other suggestion to overcome the present complication of the reserve system is to revert to a tap on the tank instead of on the dashboard. We carried this out on 10-EX and various other cars. The tap could always be located at the filler cap which has to be in an accessible position. I agree that if Sales will accept the red light it will be much the simpler scheme, and we are rigging it up. You might consider a scheme for putting a red light on the instrument board.
