x6092. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.3/MA. March 17th., 1933. The Eastern National Omnibus Co.Ltd., Anchor Works, Chelmsford. For the attention of Mr. W.J.Morrison. Dear Sirs, We beg to thank you for your letter of the 15th., inst., reference WJM/MLL., with the most interesting particulars of the service you have obtained with constant voltage dynamos. We are ourselves experimenting with those dynamos, and one of the troubles we have experienced is sparking on the commutator at high speeds with full load being taken from the dynamo. We do not know whether you have had any trouble of this kind, which would be noticeable by increased brush wear. Again thanking you, Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
