From experience gained, certain modifications appear advantageous with regard to the above instrument which we are supplying to you.
Top glass tube joint. We recently had information from the King-Seeley Corporation that in cases where a pressure balance connection was fitted to the top of the glass tube, it was advisable to alter the design from their old method of cementing on a glass tube holder, and leading therefrom a small diameter capillary tube, for the main reason that during transit or handling, it was possible to get a small amount of the Tetrabromide liquid into the small bore capillary tube, which thus became blocked, and prevented
