PEREGRINE II, NO.2 UNIT. (FIRST CHASSIS)

Specification of the above Unit fitted in the first Peregrine II. Chassis is revised as follows.-

Previous Specification.

Crankcase & Bearings LOP. E.100293.

Cylinder Head LOP.E.100082.
E.100520 Cylinder Head-14m/m Sparking Plugs - removed - fitted to No.1. Unit.

Revised Specification.

Crankcase & Bearings LOP.E.100293.
Crankcase modified to Ex.8910.
Sleeve Ex.8911 fitted-scheme to release surplus oil and prevent same from getting into Clutch Casing.

Cylinder Head LOP.E.100082.
E.100000 Cylinder Head fitted ex Per.II No.1. Unit.
14.7.32.

Crankshaft Damper.
Damper to Arrgt.Drawing Ex.8864 fitted.
Inner Springs V.1363 with packing Washers .075 thick fitted to give required damping load.
Damping Friction 11 lbs at 17 1/2 Rad
13.7.32.

Crankshaft Damper.
Damping Friction set at 8 lbs at 17 1/2 Rad. to obtain this 50% of the damping Springs were removed.
