EAC.11. X8770 (struck through) X8830

Referring to our telephonic conversation this afternoon. We understand that you will arrange to have the dummy chassis taken from Messrs. Parkers to Lillie Hall. You will let us know when it is there, and we will send a man to fit on to it the correct radiator and vertical shutters, also the correct bonnet.

If you can possibly do without the 'live' chassis, it would please us because the latest arrangements as regards EAC.11. have put a lot more work on to the Expl: Dept: and we can ill-afford to spare the time to make the 'live' chassis for the body at Barkers.

The chassis, when it was made, would be of no use to us because it is not like anything we are proposing to make and therefore would have to be pulled to pieces as soon as it came away from Barkers.
