Dear Sirs,

FRONT SPRINGS - 40/50 HP. CHASSIS.

With reference to the call here yesterday of your Mr. Whitehead in connection with the above, we beg to confirm the following points then discussed, and shall be glad to hear of your agreement therewith:-

1. The Springs to have 3 -1/8" deflection under the loads given.

2. The main leaves to be made of No.2 B.W.G. steel, this gauge giving a thickness of 0.284"

We understand this morning, per telephone, that the above points are in order, and that you also desire us to make 6 main leaves 5/16" thick as spares.

We shall be glad to have your official order in due course - meanwhile the springs are in hand, and delivery will be effected next week.

We remain, dear Sirs,

Yours faithfully,

(Signed) Jonas Woodhead & Sons, Ltd.
