Herewith sketch of damped pendulum lever adapted as a spring drive for the Phantom.

It requires three new pieces making. We wish to utilise piece of type G.73601 as we think if this is used it will be possible to fit up, remove or adjust the spring drive by merely removing the coupling.

The plate carrying the springs will, of course, have to be removed before the rest of the spring drive can be drawn off the clutch shaft. To facilitate its removal and to avoid the cross member we have shortened the taper and parallel bearing portion of this plate .250 at the nut end.

Will you please make the necessary bits unless you can see any means of simplifying the sketch.

The experiment is to be fitted to 10-EX or 17-EX to reduce torque reaction.
