Dear Sirs,

Flexible cable controls.

In reply to your letter of the 30th October, the two cables we would like for test purposes should have an outer sheath 3' 0" long, the inner should be long enough to give a 3" travel when swaged into an end of the type marked on the enclosed Bowdenex Data Sheet, the threaded portion being 2" long and having 22 threads per inch on a 5/16" rod.

The abutments of the cable should be of the tapered type, as also marked on the accompanying sheet. The load will be 400 lbs.

Will you please inform us what your charge for these sample cables will be and we will then arrange for payment to be made.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
