contd :- -2- dampers on EAV.7. could be arranged to give a measure of torque control to the rear axle. This would obviate the necessity for arranging the attachment of the brake ropes at the point about which the axle twists, and at the same time improve the behaviour of the car when being brought to rest. We have carried out a bench test to ascertain if the torque arm as at present arranged quarrels with the front spring sufficiently to influence its rating.
