The fibre impact washers were still both attached to the armatures, although this pump had not the latest modification to the spindle to prevent them becoming trapped. This is the second High Pressure pump to run 15,000 miles with the Neoprene water excluders and in neither case have they caused any corrosion or sooting due to reduced ventilation.
